Very sad news. My two favorite people at Nintendo have always been Iwata and Reggie. Now they are both going to be gone. And they both started at Nintendo about the same time. This ends a significant chapter at Nintendo.

I am at least glad that Reggie can have a nice retirement. I'm still sad about Iwata.

Surprising, and sad, news. I wish him the best, and the same to Bowser.

Now there's only Miyamoto left from the big trio.

Sad to see him go. I hope this Bowser guy does a good job (and finally brings over Mother 3)

Sad Reggie is retiring, but I still find it fucking amazing that a guy named Bowser works at (and will now rule over) Nintendo of America.

Bill Trinen seems an obvious American ambassador for the major quarterly Directs.

This is so sudden.... dammit, I trully expected him to be the president forever.Unrealistic I know, but he has always been the president ever since I started following Nintendo news....

He deserves it, but Ill certainly miss him.My body wasnt and never will be ready for his departure.

April direct confirmed. Reggie will be there and say his goodbyes. Oh, and announces Mother 3.

So, the Phantom Thieves stole Reggie's heart and made him atone for his sins by retiring and giving Mother 3 as a final farewell/apology gift. Seems legit.

That wuld be really awesome.A great farewell to an amazing man.
