I respect his work really, we can confirm that he was good just in seeing the success today of the Switch in US, but I always had difficulties with the fact that EVERY single words pronounced by this man was marketing.

Man, that's kinda sad. Reggie felt like an extended member of the family at this point.
I'll always love that big goofball :)
My body was not ready for this. My body was not ready at all!
To me, Reggie embodies and symbolizes Nintendo just as much as Miyamoto or Iwata (RIP). When a big change like this happens, it always makes me feel sad because it's a reminder that as time goes on, things will change whether you want them to or not. I could not envision anyone else in Reggie's role other than him. Yeah, he had his faults and made his mistakes, but what CEO doesn't? Suddenly, him not going to be there is like a big punch in the gut. But, I'm sure Doug Bowser is going to do a great job once he gets settled in and I look forward to the new memes that will surface now that "Bowser" is running Nintendo.
As for Reggie, it seems like he's going out on his terms, with happiness, pride, and his head held high, which is what we should all hope to have and achieve whenever we get to our retirements. I wish him nothing but great health and happiness in his future along with his family.
Thank you, Reggie, for everything!

Fuck, I'm so sad. This is hitting me hard.
So can we just talk about how the next dude in line to be president of Nintendo of America is named Bowser? Is this a name sim game where you are Bowser and you must run and manage your own video game company?
I'll buy the fuck out of that pic.twitter.com/9KHIHXshrS

Bowser is CEO now eh?
Welp, no more Mario games, guys.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Sad news, I liked Reggie! He's only 57 years old that's still young to retire but I guess he can afford it.
