Considering we know nothing concrete about the rest of the year besides Yoshi, 11 doesn't seem that ridiculous. 3DS releases should stop now, so 11 new Switch games sounds about right. Hopefully the direct comes this week and clears things up. I need Fire Emblem, Dragon Quest, Pokemon and Pikmin

From Emily's list

The “Most likely” Nintendo-published game announcements for 2019. (70% chance or higher)

1. Mystery game #1 -> Super Mario Maker 2
2. Mystery game #2 -> Astral Chain
3. Mystery game #3 -> The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
4. Mystery game #4 -> ?
5. eShop game #1 -> Tetris 99
6. Mystery Wii U port #1 (2013 title) -> Pikmin 3 ?
7. eShop game #2 -> Box Boy! + Box Girl!
8. eShop game #3 -> ?
9. New Labo Kit

The “Maybe” games for 2019. (The wild card titles – 50% chance or less)

10. Retro Studios secret game (this is assuming it wasn’t canned)
11. Metroid Prime Trilogy (assuming Zell’s info and Imran’s info are correct)
12. Mystery Wii U port #2

Seems right. She was fairly on the ball - she did say Platinum had a Switch exclusive coming before Bayonetta 3, with Kamiya involved. We can expect another retail release and another eShop release outside of Animal Crossing, Pokemon and Luigi's Mansion 3.

EDIT: Unlike some other leakers, she also didn't hype up the odds of either Prime Trilogy HD or a Retro Studios game making an appearance.

I think Nintendo is only scratching the surface of their 2019 lineup. I think we'll have another Direct in April to show even more unannounced first party games coming in 2019, plus at least one more 2019 reveal at E3. Remember, there could be as many as 11 upcoming first party games, so I think there's more to be seen.

I kind of think that too. I just got the feeling they had so much more they could have shown, especially from 3rd parties and given the rumours. At this point it seems that May is pretty barren from a Nintendo perspective, so i wouldn't be surprised if they had a direct in March given that there have been strong rumours for certain titles from Nintendo and sneaked a May release out of left field and showed some 3rd parties. Or maybe i'm being too optimistic?

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

An April Direct seems the most likely. One reason is that it allows for a month for Yoshi's Crafted World to breathe. Another Direct is necessary if only for Super Mario Maker 2. We don't know anything about it, and if it's releasing in June, April would be a good time to start fleshing out details and give us a release date.

Not disputing there won't be another direct, i just thought April might be too late for my pie-in-the-sky idea of a  Nintendo release in May to gain enough hype. I suppose a smaller game or port could gain enough hype in a month though.

May would be a perfect time to drop Metroid Prime Trilogy, assuming Nintendo stealth reveals it before April.
