-code veronica is better than re2(original, still have to play the new one)
-silent hill 1 and 3 are just as good as 2
-earthbound and panzer dragoon saga are the most overrated jrps of all time
-chrono trigger is great but it is not the masterpiece the internet says it is
-final fantasy 7 is still the best game ever(please don't hate me)
-mario 3 is far better than world
-mario 64 is still the best 3d mario game
-the psp is a great system with an amazing library
-bloodborne is a boring grind fest
-the fat ps3 is amazing you can play ps1,ps2 and ps3 games with it
-the nintendo switch had an amazing start but has gone downhill since and the future doesn't look very bright, typical nintendo since n64(ouch)
-zelda games are great but it's the most overrated franchise in gaming especially with critics, most games are the same

Sonic 06 isn’t that bad.

- RDR2 is not a 97.
- RE4 is the best one.
- Telltale games are not very good.
- Life is Strange is very overrated. It doesn't even get time travel right and the characters are bad people.
- PS1 was the best one of all Playstations.
- Xenoblade X not having good characters, only Lao is a good character with an interesting backstory. Elma is a one dimensional and has the personality of cardboard.
- Chapter 5 is not that horrible in Bravely Default. 
- Tomb Raider outstayed its welcome.
- Sony doesn't have interesting characters first party IP-wise.
- Only the first Dragon Age was good.
- Zelda II > Zelda I
- Xenoblade 2 has good artstyle. Critique is overblown and unfounded.
- Rare peaked at the end of the 90s, early 2000s.
- Undertale doesn't come anywhere near the Mother/Eartbound franchise.

FFX is the best Final Fantasy. The voice acting was amazing.
GTAV story was boring and uninspired.

This is a falacy, at least for big budget games. The people in charge of the gameplay design are not the same as the ones in charge of the visual design.

Why are you so angry? There's no such a thing as "real witches". No one's getting hurt for the way Bayonetta represents witchcraft.

You know that the difference between movies and games is interactivity, right? If a movie is interactive, it's a game.

Kirby Star Allies and Pokemon Lets Go are horrible. If they weren't Nintendo games they would be rightly shitted on.

Metal Gear Solid is not a very good game
Naughty Dog is overrated
GTA4 is a bad game

Some people could be talking just hardware, some software others both  software and hardware, it can be hard to see where people's opinions  are coming from.
