Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo says they have at least 1 unannounced game that'll make fans go crazy & 1 heavily online focused game for FY 2019

That's already announced.

Technically not. We know it's coming but offically it's not announced until with have the full reveal.

Or that's how I've always classed it.

It been announced and twice at that, one at the 2017 E3 and another time at the Pokemon event last year don't mistake a full reveal as being the only announcement. Unannounced games are games that haven't been officially confirmed which gen 8 has.

Oh, no, no, no.  Golden Sun without Camelot would just not be Golden Sun.

Assuming that Nintendo dosent assign the project to an utterly incopetent developer, its better than having no Golden Sun at all.

I don't know.  I think getting a Golden Sun from someone else would be pretty much the same thing as getting no Golden Sun at all, as it would basically just have the name slapped on the title.

Of course, one of my first RPGs ever was the first Shining Force, and I've played every RPG Camelot has ever made, so I am very aware of what their games feel like, and I love it.  So, it would just stick out like a sore thumb, to me.

Maybe, but people said the same thing about Retro working on Metroid back in the 6th gen.And look how that turned up.

I do get where you are comming from, but sometimes a franchise gets to a point, wether intentionally or not, that a fresh take is necessary for one reason or another.I would love if Camelot handled the game, but Im at a point that I just want a new Golden Sun game to be made.

But if it does happen, hopefully someone skilled with the genre gets in charge of the project.Alphadream would be an interesting choice for example.Atlus would be a bizarre choice too, though one that could give interesting results.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Golden Sun. Either reboot or re-released collection for the Switch would make me spend my money. Do it Nintendo.

I feel like you just discribed dark dawn though... Camelot are a ghost of their former selves. If golden sun is to live, I think it should be givin to someone else and possibly even rebooted.

This is official translate about that part:

Takahashi:
"In addition to the titles we have already announced for scheduled release in 2019, we're also preparing for releasing software titles which would delight consumers including one that is good fit for Nintendo Switch Online".

Mario Golf is a definite possibility

People are saying it’s a hardcore game.

I for one applaud Nintendo getting into the pornographic gaming scene.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
