Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Xbox "Going Big" At E3 This Year After Sony Drops Out

Did anyone expect Phil to say, or MS to do, anything else?

Well, of course not. This is the time for them to display confidence. And I'm sure that even if Sony wasn't going to be at E3, they were still going to say it will be their biggest E3 ever. I mean, it's what they say every year.

Whether it is for indies or games, or in general, Microsoft tends to tout they're gonna have their biggest conference ever. And with next-gen consoles looming over us, it makes sense to say this.

Get over what? Not sure what you’re saying here.

Im glad Karl Malone retired with no championships.

The fact that Sony keeps spanking Microsoft's ass in the console market.

Console warz is cute, but what does this have to do with E3 presentations?

Curious but not expecting to be impressed.

Can't wait. This year's e3 is going to be amazing, especially with the new studios being bought.

New gen xbox consoles. Probably in 2 skus, one 300$ max. Other 500$ 4k console.
All games announced to the new systems.

To be fair, Microsoft's version of 'going big' just means stretching the definition of 'exclusive' even farther than before.

I'm sure their presentation will show us a bunch of cool stuff that we can get on PS4/PC so I'm looking forward to it but I highly doubt It'll get me excited to play my Xbox One, which is just collecting dust.
