While there is no guarantee, Game Freak has a history of improving as the gen goes on technical aspects.  So an upgrade should be expected.  Also, they have stated Gen 8 is picking up where Gen 7 left off.  So I expect the grid based world and chibi characters of lets go will not be seen.  That seems to have been a throwback thing.  The real question in my mind is camera perspective.  The series is headed for a true third person camera.  It seems inevitable.  But will they do it NOW or in Gen 9?

So it should be releasing soon or expected to? On your page it says it will release this year (2018).

Edit: It aims now for a spring release 2019.

Kinda sucks that Yokai series flopped in the states and never really caught on. Seems to be doing decently in Japan though.

And it looks great on all fronts, was a bit concerned about with the controlling humans during the battle but it actually seems pretty cool and a good balance of this and monster control.

Visually this is the bare minimum I'm hoping from Pokemon

Stuff like "amasing" instead of amazing and "organising" isntead of organizing just triggers me. For that reason, Ive spammed the report button about 200 times, you shall get banished for eterrnity for commiting such a sin.

Though yeah, I like the art style and aesthetic, graphically it looks a million times superior than Lets Go. Some day I might actually get into JRPGS.
