Sure, it was less than many of us thought but saying things like its underwhelming is an exaggeration.

Was Fortnite a big a game that was selling the PS4? And I don't know man I think it has a few games that can spark sales here and there Days Gone, Death Strand, Crash Team racing, KH 3, Wolfenstein, Shenmue 3(I think this one is 2019), Resident Evil 2, MK 1, Dreams, DMC 5 etc could help it out. I think it could do 15-16 million. And since you don't think 16 million will happen about how much do you think the PS4 will sell this year?

So..., Kingdom Hearts 3, Anthem, The Division 2, Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5, Sekiro,etc ... won't be 3rd party big sellers? And they're just some of only the first half of the year. What about Days Gone (this game is going to sell a lot, naysayers are going to look ridiculous when it launches), Dreams, most probably TLOU 2, or Ghosts of Tsushima or Death Stranding for the second half of the year? I'm pretty sure PS4 will have big games for the second half of the year, 1st or 3rd party. PS4 is not a guarantee that is going to sell more than 16M but saying is not going to happen in no form or way is betting for the wrong horse....

oh, and TLOU 2 is going to be a ps4 game..., i'm tired of hearing from the ignorant press insisting TLOU 2, Death Stranding and Ghosts of Tsushima are going to be PS5 launch titles....Those games are going to be sold to the most succesful console, not the new one (later will sell with their own ps5 version of course). This is not a Nintendo situation. Zelda TP launched with Wii because GC was a failure and BotW did the same because WiiU was a failure too. This is not the same situation. PS5 will need a year or two, to sell more games than PS4 in the same year.

Yikes. The weekly drops are massive for the XBO and PS4. Curious to see how they sell this year. 

Out of the stuff you named? The only BIG one is death stranding. I can’t even guess when that game comes out. While some of the others are indeed big, games like Crash, KH, and wolfenstien has already had ps4 games, so the impact is reduced. It’s hard to guess, but maybe high 14 million/ low 15 million. 

And fortnite 100% sold systems in 2018, I don’t think anyone denies that.

Smash was #1 for the month and sold 3,592,000 at retail. Largest opening for an exclusive.

New king of exclusives. It should have decent digital rate with that said I wonder if this will ever be beat retail wise.
