She's definitely leaving. I think next episode is her exit. Her replacement ( a new character, but from the same race ) is in for the rest of this season. The only question is: Will she be back sometime in the future?

Well if her family was super powerful and owned a solar system or two, I'd pretty much have to. I might as well set myself up to rule over this system instead of eventually becoming one of their space slaves.

I think it may be partially that they were dating, but aren't anymore. Also, like you mentioned, the other stuff is conflicting with her schedule. I don't know what to make of it all. Found out about all this by accident after last week's episode. She's probably my favorite too.
