So you mean Awakening DLCs and Amiibo have the same value as a pixel red dot then, well sure lol.

Also, who force you have to grinding when playing Awakening? You can choose classic mode, problem solved.

Who forces you to buy the red dot in COD?

Stop defending this bs even if it comes from your beloved Nintendo.

LOL except Awakening have two modes: Classic mode and Casual mode, you can choose whatever you want. I don't care about Activision practice, you are the one who attacked Nintendo first, want me to stop defending them?  So how about you when you defended your beloved Sony? Now, if you think a pixel red dot have the same value as Awakening DLCs or an Amiibo figure then sure lmao

I obviously played Awakening in Classic mode (what's the point of playing a Fire Emblem in casual mode...). I don't remember it impacting the grinding, the crappy balance, the awful scenario, the broken mechanisms, the bland maps, the non existing objectives, the generic characters... It's a bad TRPG who doesn't deserve to share the name of Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn (it's an OK dating sim for anime fans at best). This doesn't really have anything to do with the awful DLCs put in it (although I have to admit that the DLC really belong in this amazing ensemble...).

And stop trying to do the ridiculous comparison "one pixel is not the same value as a figure". Are they sold the same price? Do they have the same importance in their respective games? The point is that no, Nintendo is not a perfect company able to give others a lesson when it comes to DLC or additional content. They're not as dirty as Activision or EA, but they're in no position to give others lessons.

EA sucks, Konami SUCKS, Activision is a trash company, Ubisoft keep making the same stuff over and over again for the most part and now recently Bethesda produces trash games along with having a shitty attitude. The market is getting flooded with companies you don't want to give your money to, at least in my case.

Because it takes a hell of a lot of manpower and resources to put a tiny red dot in an FPS game.

And it's not entitlement to say that a basic feature that's free in every other FPS game should be free in this one. I was right, some people really would defend Activi$ion (they will forever be called Activi$ion after all their shenanigans) selling them ammo, and I get the feeling just by reading your posts that you'd be one of the people defending them on that, and you know what? Given everything else they've done, I wouldn't put it past Acti.

What are you even talking about... I just played Call of for a few days and I have like 3 or 4 different reticles for the weapons I use, and it's perfectly free.

This is why the entitlement of people like the OP bothers me.  If someone doesn't like microtransactions, that's fine.  It is perfectly within the rights of the consumer to tell Activision that or to even decline buying their game over it.  The consumer has final veto power most of the time.  However, when a company creates something extra, something that isn't necessary to the experience, and then someone has a hissy fit over it and yells, "I SHOULD GET EVERYTHING YOU DO FOR FREE," that's pure entitlement.

That he further tries to equate an unnecessary cosmetic addition to forcing someone to pay for ammunition is even worse than that, it's flat out dishonest.

Why does OP never list Capcom in these threads complaining about greedy companies and DLC? They’re as bad as the rest of them.

Activision has no shortage of valid reasons you could complain about their DLC and content practices, but this isn’t one of them. You keep making big deals out of nothing, no one is going to care when you actually have a valid situation to bitch about.

These are $1 cosmetic microtransactions in a game that already gives you plenty of free recticle customization options. Who cares.

It's clear that everyone complaining hasn't played BO4. That game is packed with content, and you'll enjoy the game just fine without spending extra $$$. There are loads of free reticles in the game. I'd say anyone paying $1 for a reticle is an idiot, don't blame Activision for making good use of said idiots.

Since when Nintendo did anything like giving others a lesson when it comes to DLC or additional content? "And stop trying to do the ridiculous comparison "one pixel is not the same value as a figure". Are they sold the same price?". A lot people get amiibo as their figures collection, not because to unlock anything. In fact, many people only buy the amiibo and skip the game, can't say the same for the pixel red dot.
