Forums - Website Topics - Dark Mode Now Available

Nicely done Talon! Speaking of troubles with css. I highly recommend .less as it is more dynamic. You can nest css and use variables and mixins.

As for suggestions, unrelated to the dark mode. I would very much like a aspect ratio option when uploading images. Right now I kind of have to do it myself and guess when adjusting the sizes of images that I uploaded.

Looking good so far.

So far, so good. I'm digging how it looks. The white borders kinda ruin it, but maybe darkening the borders could solve it.

Loving it! Awesome work! Will definitely use it from now on.

As far as dark text, I did a quick search and the only one I could find is the "Quick Reply (...)"

Great. Finally a dark mode after 11 years on VGC.

Yeah - I'm still tweaking those things. I'm certainly open to specific color suggestions...   :)

I messed around with the inspector and came up with a mock up to show that black borders are definitely better for dark mode. This would include the forum post borders as well.

Thanks man!

Wow, this looks pretty good, great work!

Edit: dont know if this has been pointed out , but the question for the poll in threads isnt showing up in dark mode, idk if it's me or the mode.

Edit:- seems it was me, alls fixed now.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
