Well, in theory anybody that would buy a console for R2 would've bought one for R1, but then again, R2 is such a significant step above it's predecessor that it may sell a good bit of consoles.

It certainly can't hurt. ^^

Man, I can't wait for this game. The trailer really got me excited about it. Again.
I really want to try the 8 player co-op, though, that sounds insane!

 You can't compare Gears and this. Resistance wins hands down. Gears if pathetically boring.

Actually he's not far wrong. I seriously think 50% of Resistance sales were bundles. (As here in UK they still bundle 90% of PS3's with it.) So time will tell.

 


Resistance was in a bundle for 3 months. From July to September, Sony put Motorstorm and Resistance in a bundle only in Europe.

Adding the sales from week ending July 7th to September 29th is 240,776 units. People love to undermine the PS3.

So the bundles have accounted for ~17% (out of a total 1.45 mil) of Resistance's sales in EU. Thats discounting the 1 mil in US as well.

The bundle started July 13th. And the Starter Pack was dwindling in supply in early August. I gave you two extra weeks in July and the whole month of September.

Actually from launch here in UK it's been bundled with a PS3, and your right Motorstorm as well. Since launch in Game (the top Game retailer in UK) they have always had Resistance with a PS3. Been to town yesterday to check and yep still bundled.

In house testing doesnt give real world server data. They are trying to accomplish 60 online. If Bungie( whos servers have always been awesome) were worried about how file sharing was gonna hamper the servers did open world beta as test, I'm surprised if Insomniac just release on inhouse server tests.

Ah, but that is retailer specific bundle. Im only talking about Sony official bundles. Those are the ones that count. (besides if we couldn't count of the countless retailer bundles that go on)
