I've missed a few days, so I'll drop them all here:

#46: Pokemon Platinum (up 6 spots from last year)
Pokemon's Gen IV has always been a funny one for me. They never held me as much as the gens before them did, and even after getting the DS games, I went back to my GB/A games instead. However, after having not touched any of them for 8 or so years, I tried to play Platinum on my DS and immediately worked it out - they're so slow. Immediately, I instead started playing on an emulator and loved the game. Gen IV games are fantastic at their core - but the engine they run on is so slow that it prevents them from really shining. Regardless, Platinum is a fantastic game, with a solid story, great pacing and far improved Pokemon variety over DP.

#45: Puyo Puyo Tetris (down 5 spots from last year)
Puyo Puyo Tetris is a fantastic puzzle game - the best on the Switch in fact. It's multiplayer is fantastic and among the best on the system too. I spent around 100 hours with it last year, but haven't touched it this year, which has meant it has fallen down my rankings.

#44: Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia (no change)
I know it's an unpopular opinion, but Gaiden was my favourite of any FE right up until Awakening, and this is a fantastic remake of it. With beautiful music, character design, writing and great gameplay, it's a classic.

#43: Mario Party 5 (no change)
One of the best multiplayer experiences on any system, there are so many play options in MP5 that make it stand out. The vehicle combat mode in particular really drew me in, I spent a ridiculous amount of time customising builds.

#42: The Urbz: Sims in the City (down 2 spots from last year)
The lone game I bought at the DS' launch (Pokemon Dash is not a thing, we do not speak of it). I've played through it more than 50+ times; so much that I to this day have a mental to do list in my head that is modelled on this game's mission progress screen. Yet, I am always brought back by the great story and writing, the fantastic music and the line-up of mini-games. I haven't played it in a few years now (going on 4 or 5) but I remember every single area, character and piece of music.

#41: Super Mario Bros. 3 (down 20 spots from last year)
The biggest drop in my rankings, SMB 3 is fantastic, but I've lost my love for 2D platformers as a whole over the past year, and that has sent it tumbling down the rankings. The 2nd best 2D Mario is by far the best NES entry, and infinitely replayable; one I expect to see near the top of a lot of people's lists.
