I don't think that's true for Kirby Star Allies, it's also not true for Super Mario Odyssey.

Kirby has added two sets of 3 dream characters each and revamped the Guest Star mode. (+ Hidden secrets in Story mode). A 3rd update is coming.

Super Mario Odyssey had the Luigi's Balloon update and plenty of added costumes.

Although none had what could be called a full fledge DLC.

LonelyDolphin said he doesn't think Super Mario Party will get post launch support and claimed that Nintendo would've announced it before hand if it was happening. I pointed to 2 examples where this was not the case. I'm not sure how your post contradicts mine.

Also, I heard Kirby got some new stages as well?

I am SO excited to play this later tonight after I get home from work. I haven't played a Mario Party game since perhaps #5. We're going to have a family game night tonight that I'm looking forward to. I need to buy an extra set of Joy Cons. Hoping to find the pink and green "Splatoon" colors (putting that in quotes because I'm not sure if they are officially considered Splatoon Joy Cons, but the colors remind me of it).

I have those Joy Cons and I call them the Splatoon Joy Cons.

OP: That's a good score for a Mario Party game.

Seems like a very solid score for a party unit.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Which games are more important?

so far I have purchased
Mario Kart
Bayonetta 2 with 1 as bonus
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker
Pokken Tournament DX
Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu
Smash Bros

next will be
Mario Odyssey
Zelda
Kirby
Donkey Kong

But those aren’t party games

So the Switch is my first ever Nintendo console, and I got this game. Can anyone give me an opinion on whether these games are typically worth buying? How fun are they with friends?

The earlier Mario parties were really good fun but became stale after about 6 but from what i've heard Super Mario Party is somewhat a return to from for this series. As for if you will have fun with your friends with it, you should do. It is always the best way to play Mario party.

ANDY MURRAY:- GRAND SLAM WINNER!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Me and the crew just finished up the night trying 1 map of each mode, heck of a good time, lots of laughs and rages just like the old days. the night ended with 1 team getting a double star card on a toadette selling double stars for a total of 4 stars all in 1 turn on the last turn, putting them up ahead by 2....greatest, most ridiculous mario party moment i've ever experienced.

That's not all I said, they also need to justify buying an unfinished game. I'd say Mario Odyssey at launch was a complete package worth $60, plus the fact that it only got a single not very substantial update separates it from the aforementioned games I think. Kirby updates were announced beforehand in the Mini Direct.

Just finished up a session with family; what great fun! Can't wait for another go!

You don't have Zelda? You don't have Xenoblade? Yeah, you have more important games.

I never was a zelda fan so this would be my first. Xenoblade looks cool but the first one didnt get a remaster and it pissed me off maybe if it happens then I would buy it right away.
