Age of Empires 4? PC exclusive.
Gears Tactics? PC exclusive
Minecraft Dungeons? PC exclusive

Knock it off, microsoft.

Keep in mind MS recently talked about or added mouse and keyboard support to the xbox1 to be added to games on a game by game basis, I very much doubt that Age of Empires 4 wouldn't come to X1 with an elite gaming mouse and keyboard, made in the same line as those 200e elite controllers and MS could profit well from it.

So what does this add that you couldn't get with regular Minecraft?

It's a different genre. This is an action adventure dungeon crawler while mine craft is a survival game.

It's honestly been a long time coming, especially since MS largely ignored PC gaming for years, and instead put their focus on just their console side a lot more over the years. They need to do a lot to earn back that PC market and I'd actually like to see them put in 110% of the effort to do it.

That all makes sense, but why makes these games solely for PC?

The argument I always see if that forcing a console version will "dumb down" the games (which I sorta agree for AoE, but Xcom proves Turn based tactical games can work on console), but either way, now that Xbox has kb/m support, they now have zero excuses.

Ironically... PC Gamers aren't exactly clamoring for these games. Why? Windows Store.
If it was on Steam... That would be different.

My guess is that they'd come up with a new store next year and they would use these games as an advertisement for the new platform. Age of Empires 2 & 3 definitive editions, Gears Tactics, Minecraft and other smaller games as a full exclusive for the new store. In addition to the console exclusive games like Gears 5, Ori, Crackdown, Battletoads and others.

They want a strong start to their new platform. Once they serve their purpose, they will get ported to Xbox, especially since it will support mouse and keyboard later this year.

Or it could be for a very simple reason like the size of the developer. Maybe it is too small to be handling Minecraft on all platforms AND develop a new game in multiple platforms. Once they finish the work on PC, they would move to Xbox and others.

Anyway, I'm surprised Microsoft didn't keep the news to their  X018 conference in November. Maybe they will avoid discussing PC during it. I hope not since I'm excited to hear about AoE4 and Tactics.

It is also worth to note that they are working on multiple games in the Minecraft Universe but this is the only one they showed us.

This trailer looks pretty cool, I might have to check it out. I wonder when they say PC, if its on Steam and Win10 or just Win10?

Where's the game? All I saw was a CG trailer.

Well, this always looks like a mod of the original game, so I'm just wondering if this will just be that. At least with the Telltale game you can't just mod a story, but a gameplay mode like that seems like something that's already available on the game.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

OMG. I am already waiting for it. Minecraft is one of my favorites, but dungeon... It's something new, fresh and... Oh, I am just too excited to talk.

This could be an extremely good game, but it depends on the execution. It also could be a cheap, knock-off, cash-grab. Also if it's good then I want it to come to console.
