Tsk tsk. Your poll leaves no room for libertarians, anarchists and those whose primary issues are with authoritarian systems, which can sadly describe both political parties in the US.

I'm Libertarian Capitalist according to the political compass test, which pretty accurately describes my political stances. Most of my social stances could be considered "liberal" but I'm pro private ownership/business and I don't particularly like any US party because all of them give the state far too much power in one's personal lives. Even the "libertarian party" is as undesirable in my eyes it's a long-shot from Ron Paul's intentions.

This is essentially my own result, so I'll just quote it.

I think that's true, even Left Politics in the US looks like the Right Politics in Australia and other countries

It's hard for me to really measure as a result of South American politics being quite different than those from outside and the fact I've lived in the US for the past 4 years.

I am strongly in favor of the free market, free trade and non-government intervention in the economy. I've seen how devastating left-wing economic policies can be.
I think authority should be respected and laws should be strong and protect the citizens, but I can see how that can go wrong in weaker, less established and younger democracies.
I couldn't care less about most social issues, but I favor abortion on the fact it is better for society and the economy, and because I believe religion should not have a room in the government.
I also favor international agreements and multilateralism.

One of those online tests said left. But I dont mind some right leaning views. Pro gun, for the wall, etc.

I would say its fairly accurate. It shows I fall in the center of many issues, I lean towards nationalism, and I really believe in the free market.

If the government gets better at spending money and allocating quality services, I would probably lean toward "equality."

Most of these questions depend so much on the context that I had to go neutral with only few questions the swayed results a bit.

Agreed. But maybe if you can answer those questions with a actual agree or disagree, it really shows where you stand.

I don't think anybody is coming up as very right wing, but we're seeing people in the far left.

On a side note, I think the "Equality" term is bullshit. It really should just be called "Government Control."

Authority/Freedom is kinda broken in my opinion. I think I rated slightly higher on "authority" simply because I'm neutral on drugs, not enough context there and not all drugs are equal.

the united states is more left than all american countries except canada. Gay rights and black rights are in the spotlight way more frequent here than lets say brazil or mexico.
