Says the guy who obviously knows how development works and knows more on how to implement features in a game than the developers themselves. *sigh*

Etrian Odyssey and all spin offs based on it are known for its dungeon Crawling AND map drawing. That feature will have to evolve and it wont be the same as the games on the DS and 3DS.Wether it will be better or worse, who knows. But they will create a system that makes sense for the hardware and what its creators believes is best for the franchise.

Franchises evolve and adapt.Believe me, Atlus will find a good solution to this "impossible" problem.

I agree that they will move on, but no way the core gameplay with the drawing map feature can remain

I guess time will tell then.I personally dont think its impossible, with some smart implementations like the auto mapping feature that is present in the latest etrian games(and you just draw things like walls, chests, notes, doors, give the path a different colour, etc).We will probably hear more about the game next year, so it shouldnt be long to see what they will end up doing.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Also some maps have many icons, if you have big hand, it will be a problem without stylus

Why the focus on the touch screen?Everything I said is to be done with button controls, since the switch is a hybrid console.

You really cant "lose" the argument, cant you?Or even agree to disagree?
