Found an interesting video about the glorious patch work happening to MCC about 4 years later.

Even as is I think its a good product that was far from its potential, but it seems MCC is becoming what it should be. I'm guessing they will do a relaunch and hype it for Xbox Game Pass.

That`s nice i had alot of fun because the first time ever you could play halo 1 combat evolved via xboxlive i hope they improve the network for this so that you have the option to play an only halo 1 list with 1-4 players splitscreen. We loved that via xbconnect and i would loce to play it today.

I really just brought it for Halo 2 Anniversary, that in itself is worth the purchase for the entire collection. One of the best remasters iv ever played.

Agreed, Halo 2 Anniversary was a great visual overhaul, great FMVs, and you could switch between old and new graphics. Its pretty much the ideal handling a port/remaster.

The only gripe in my mind was the frame rate drops were very noticeable. Hope that's addressed but a X1X likely fixes that.

I never experienced the bugs that apparently plagued the release but from what I´ve seen, they have done a great job. I´m looking forward to playing through the entire saga on legendary again when it is released =).
