Forums - Sony Discussion - PlayStation Nation | an HBO original

Massive sales for Ragnarok in just three months! It could possibly generate a billion in revenue before any major price cuts.

I'm going to say it will sell anywhere from 30M - 40M lifetime.

I do admit I love seeing games I love do well! Means we'll get more like that!

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Insane sales... this bodes incredibly well for Sony's PC support. Hopefully TLoU Factions 2 comes out this year while HBO series's effect is still going strong.

God of War Ragnarok at 11 million in ~3 months.
Spider-man at 9 million in ~2.5 months. September 7th, 2018 - November 25th, 2018
Uncharted 4 was 8.7 million in ~7 months. May 10th, 2016 - December 21, 2016
God of War at 10 million in ~12 months. April 20th, 2018 - April 2019
Horizon at 7.6 million in ~12 months February 28th, 2017 - February 2018
Spider-man Miles Morales was 6.5 million in ~8 months November 12th, 2020 - July 28, 2021

I'm waiting for that ABK PR person to pick Sony tweet and mark FTC saying that Sony is in no risk with the loss of ABK games as she did with the TLOU series on TV.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Grubb talks about Wolverine

Apparently a similar level design as God of War. Not open world, but not a strictly linear experience either. Likely to be rated M.

Currently aiming for Fall 2024, but likely to get pushed back to 2025.

But truth does anyone believe they are?. I mean PS became popular before CoD.

and new ReLink trailer:

I totally missed this one.

I’ve been waiting for this game for years now.

It is one of my most anticipated JRPGs, right after (as no 1 and 2) Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Final Fantasy XVI.

It’s shaping up to be quite amazing, if that trailer is any indication. Only thing that’s bad is the ludicrously voiced female character that speaks like a caricature.

And GoW sales and TLOU series audience have a lot of relevance regarding the ABK purchase right?

Honestly i dont understand this question?.

Edit: Reading over it I think i understand what your saying. But i wasnt replying to the other parts of your comment thats why i bolded the part about ABK. I was just stating PS didnt need CoD or ABK to become popular.

Sure PS didn't need CoD to be relevant (although we can't perfectly measure how much impact it becoming exclusive would have, and the other ABK titles, I sincerely think it won't be massive). I was just joking about the ABK PR person that tried to defend the ABK purchase based on TLOU series doing fine on TV as if it was related to the deal at all.
