Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Switch footage + PS4 graphics comparison

I think it holds up pretty well, I think would definitely put this up the highest quality ports Switch has seen.

Yeah, looks good. I can definitely see some dropped frames here or there but overall it's impressive. A very well done port.

Immediately noticed lower resolution and blurriness. However it looks like a very good port. They didn't have the option to halve the frame rate for this title unlike others such as doom, and graphically its still closer than doom as well. So a good job.

So what is this?
720p vs 1080p? textures cut back abit too?

Some shadows and various effects seem to be missing.
Slightly shorter view distance too (atleast in cutscenes)

Still this looks like a decent port for the Switch.

There's barely any graphical difference, the Switch port looks great. Being a super linear, small scale game I think its also one of the easier games to port, so i wouldn't equate with any special effort on the developers part.

You can tell the resolution is smaller, and the textures where cut back.
Plus theres certain effects / shadows missing, view distances are shorter ect.

I wouldnt call that "barely" any graphical differnces, cuz they are there and noticeable.

However its a perfectly fine looking port.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Good port but clearly below the ps4. I've been playing this on the ps4 Pro and I'm glad I get the very good performance. So easy on the eye on my 55 incher.

Looks pretty good overall.
Really, the most noticeable, and obvious, difference will be the frame rate. I'm expecting a number of drops here and there, but it's to be expected, and to be able to play it anywhere and take it with you was enough for me to double dip. I've had it pre-ordered and pre-downloaded off the eShop for a number of days and now I'm just playing the waiting game.
