Solo made $2.96M on Mon, dropping below $3M on Day 11. RO didn't drop below $3M til Day 25. Solo is currently 52.2% below RO for the same point in time. If this continues, Solo will make $254.38M at the DBO. If the FBO percentage holds it will make $447.85M WW.

Man, it lost like 50m on its expected total from the weekend to now. It's going to keep going down.

I'll watch it on Netflix if it's ever available there if not then I'll pass, it's no big deal.

Its funy cause the poll doesn't have an ption for how badly the movie will actualy perform, under 500M.

They're looking at less than $400m after this last weekend's 77% drop.

Im not gona lie, I tough the movie was OK, there were some nice conections to the overall story, some interesting tidbits about Han Solo's past and they captured the spirit of the character well enought. Star Wars hardcore fans (wich Im not, I always liked Star Wars but Im not a die hard fan) have always been prone to overeacting and not realy liking anything that isn't exactly the way they want it to be. That said Katlyn Kennedy called for it, she pretty much ofended the fanbase and said they were unecessary and meaningless, that was not smart at all and we are seeing the fallout from that.

So apparently Kelly Marie Tran was harassed off of Instagram.

Star Wars "fans".

People going after her is pathetic. Let's not pretend that it's only Star Wars "fans". Since the advent of social media people have been hiding by behind their keyboards pretending to be hardcore badasses. It's only getting worse over time. The internet has basically become a medium comprised of echo chambers, trolls, and very small segment of actual mature discussion.

I stopped watching Star Wars movies the moment they replaced David Prowses voice with an African Americans.

So it's going to be pulled from theaters soon. It's only making 600 dollars per theater. RO started dropping theaters when it was about this low as well

Why is it a problem for the replacement to be an African American?

Absolutely none....sorry lame attempt at sarcasm

Well deserved flop

I think there is a lot of tension between production head and the creative unit who is being forced to work on a deadline. The replacement of director midway across the spin-off Rogue One following episode 7, Colin from episode 9 and then this was taken on a serious note by many fans. I guess part of the problem lies with some of the key decisions that are being taken by Kathleen Kennedy in an arrogant manner. I was already put off by how a movie like TLJ(not a good movie personally) was being eulogized despite audience not favoring it. Even the director himself stepped in adding  more insult to the injury. Colin Trevorrow was also fired. This guy who has been responsible for 2015's immensely successful JW had creative differences too. So roping back JJ in isn't exactly the wisest of the decisions for Disney. There are a lot of detractors already for JJ's TFA.

I want to watch it, but it's exam season, so I can't see it in theather.
It'll do ok, because it's Star Wars. TLJ did nothing to damage Star Wars, that's just a fiction of the vocal minority.

This is the exact problem with majority of the TLJ supporters. "Vocal Minority" The problem is very clear here. You are just misrepresenting the chunk of audience who watched it actually, in your own way. TLJ's poor audience reception(more than 50 percent) coupled with another SW movie too soon actually brought fatigue leaving less demand for viewers.  A Han Solo reboot now was not perfect timing for studio. Disney realized it albeit in a way through the lukewarm response from BO receipts despite better reviews. Even JL fared better with poor reviews. This is a SW movie that won't even hit half a billion over a 250 million dollar budget, leaving a major dent for  the studio. A sequel plan might need a careful consideration now.

I dont get your logic that just the way he was named makes it feel like earth but fine I guess. George Lucas´s reason for naming Han ´Solo´ was because he was a loner. Its a boring the way he got it but Lucas had this reason first.

That is why he named him.  But, that was just his last name.  There wasn't some weak explanation about how he got it.  And like I said, in the OG trilogy, no one made a face or comment about it, meaning it was a pretty normal last name in that galaxy.  Them having a recruiter give it to him, meaning it wasn't just a normal last name, and using the word solo (which I don't think has been used in the franchise, except when to refer to Han's last name), takes it out of that galaxy and into ours.  Same goes for the politics they put into the last two films.  Hell, Rian Johnson even thought it would be an awesome reveal to have the camera move over some near the end of Ep 9 and we find out it is current day USA while the events of Ep 9 was happening.  They are taking it out of the "a long time ago and in a galaxy far, far away."

I didnt go see TLJ because people were saying its a piece of shit that has all the SJW messages across from it. Rian Johnson should keep his hands off of this franchise but the guy is getting another trilogy. In all intent of it I liked this movie I guess having a problem with how he got his name is fair criticism I just thought it was a super fucking boring way to reveal that he got it like that. It´s a Solid movie for the rest. People have a problem with L3 but I felt like L3 was more of a joke about the SJW and feminism shit in the last one then that it was supposed to be taken seriously.
