*sigh*

At least I'll get to collect two of my favorite starters (Squirtle and Bulbasaur).

It sounds like a reboot rather than a remake. You don't play as red, who is an NPC instead. It also sounds like it completely reworks a lot of the mechanics, from catching to battling. I'm a little concerned about the Go integration, but it seems interesting. I hope they can make it seem like a big HD game and not an up-resed 3DS game.

Edit: Okay, now this new rumor from 4chan sounds much better!!!

Right know there is some confusion going on, what Pokemon Let's Go actually is. Let me tell you it's not a Pokemon Yellow Remake and it's not a Gen. 7 Game.

-The Game takes place in a complety new Kanto. It is a full 3D Third Person JRPG and not a 3DS Game in HD based on a Layout of 1996 Gameboy JRPG.

-There are new Pokemon, most of them are Evolutions of already known Pokemon (mainly from Kanto), and there are also knew Regional Forms for some Non-Kanto Pokemon.

-Instead of having new Starters GF had the idea to use Pikachu an Eevee. Both get new Evolutions. Gorochu is back. Eevee is finally getting a Normal Evolution Line.

-Your Pokemon can follow you (not only Pikachu an Eevee), Wild Pokemon are also shown in the Overworld, No Random Encounters

-Catching Pokemon is still like in the older Pokemon Games, a new Element inspired by Pokemon Go is that you can throw a Ball via the Touchscreen (in Handheld Mode) or with Motion (Docked Mode).

-Pokemon from Pokemon Go can finally be brought into the Real Games via the Pokemon Bank.

The Game will be revealed soon.

That sounds way too good to be true.

I know people will still be salty about Kanto though.

Now that I can get behind. I'd be a bit bummed about random encounters going extinct, but everything else sounds great. But yeah, probably too good to be true. Especially since the idea of a new Pikachu evolution sounds a bit odd. Do they mean our first 4th stage evo or are they gonna turn it into Eevee and give him multiple evolutions instead of just Raichu? That would actually be kind of sick if Pikachu got a bunch of different type evos. Maybe a fire, water, and grass one to make up for the lack of traditional starters?

I wont be as long as the game is good. Also that leak is bs. For one it's trying to correct another leak, something I've never seen a real leak do. This zero credibility nobody is clearly just trying to leech off for attention by saying what we want to hear. Contradicting the credible leaks by saying the game is gen 8 without any sort of backing is laughable. And finally, ruining the point of Eevee and giving Pikachu a 4th evolution stage.

To be fair, it could be what I mentioned and they turn Pikachu into Eevee and give multiple final stage evos. You already have to evolve Raichu via thunder stone, so a fire, water, and grass type evo via those stones like Eevee wouldn't be that far of a stretch. And obviously we're gonna get new Eeveeloutions in a game where Eevee is literally the mascot. That would make no sense otherwise. But yeah, this just seems like some random person with no credibility so probably fake.

I just want to see what kind of visuals they can push on the Switch to be honest.
Hopefully they push some high quality passes.

Don't get too excited.  Pokemon Company's MO is that the *second* generational game does the pushing.  Compare X and Y to Sun and Moon to see what I mean.  This will look beter, but not as good as it could.

Still keen to see how their first outing goes... As it goes without saying that the next title will take it up a notch, you kinda' expect that with every game release.

They specifically said Gorochu, Raichu's scrapped evolution. Regardless of this fake leak, I'd say Eevee wont get a new evolution. Again, this is not a new gen a.k.a. no new Pokemon, plus it wouldn't be fair to the Pikachu version since he can't get a new evolution. Don't see how being on the boxart only makes sense if you get a new evolution. That didn't stop Pokemon Yellow.
