And he was so close to getting that Nobel Peace Price. But I guess that's smart, Peace Prices are for sissies and you can't have a sissy on the throne.

Moving an embassy to the capital of your ally doesn't justify the response its received.

No, but it doesn't make it any less idiotic. Most [sane] people knew that such an action would lead to more instability in the region and many deaths (so far 55 people have been killed). From what I understand part of the embassy is on disputed ground, which would make matters even more complicated.

what makes this whole thing even more disgusting is the fact that nobody acknowledge Israel's crimes against humanity all the time.

What crimes? Defending themselves against savages?

But even if you argued crimes which I may under some circumstances agree or acknowledge, what does that have to do with today's events of opening an embassy in the obvious capital of another country?

It's as if I said, America has (which is true) cowardly dropped nuclear bombs on CIVILIANS in Hiroshima and Nagasaki so I'm disgusted that Washington is the capital of the US...

One may or may not agree about WW2 events like Hiroshima and Nagasaki but it has nothing to do with the US wanting Washington DC as their capital.

As for today's events, I congratulate Israel's celebration of their 70th anniversary, as for the US embassy, embassies are supposed to be in capitals aren't they? So that's where this embassy is now.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Very anti-sematic of you. Palestinian children are literally brainwashed in school that is Israel is evil and they should be wiped off the face of the earth. Is there little wonder why they grow up into adults incapable of co-existing with Israelis?

You do realise it’s exactly the same in Israel? They are even more nationalist and brain washed than the Americans.

Israel actually is behaving evil down there. Would you just accept it and not fight back if it was your land, your country and you were forced to live in a prison under constant attack?

defending your border against people who are brainwashed from birth that you have no right to exist and should all die is not evil.

Arab nations have already tried to wipe Israel off the map multiple times. They have the right to defend themselves.

No thanks I'm not gullible and naive to check one video that will obviously victimize the poor peace loving Palestinians and show the evil Israelis. I look at the big picture and in that picture they are savages, they can only express themselves through violence, look at a million videos and pieces of news out there about how the Arabs have tried to destroy (not kick out, not discuss with, not share but DESTROY) Israel since the inception of the Jewish state.

Today's events are a forgone conclusion, Palestinians were inevitably going to react with violence because violence is their religion, well Islam is but both are pretty much the same thing. It's just that Israel is not like the coward Europe that gets kicked in the face with terrorists attacks and does nothing about it, besides welcoming even more muslims inside our borders. If you attack Israel they will readily defend themselves and kick back.

As for me seeing Palestinians as humans, well, ironically I do as I consider barbarity as part of human nature, it's just that some mental influences like religion or some politics like nazism are a catalyst that encourages human violence and barbarity. So don't worry, I totally see Palestinians as humans, that's not an issue for me.

Another promised kept by president Trump. With all the horrible things said on this thread I know I am on the right side. It is just disgusting.

Another astonishingly excellent gesture from the man who refers to Native Americans collectively as "Pocahantas" and sees nothing racist about it. I know what you're thinking: How could such a man so brazenly support straight-up, not-so-neo colonialism?

Yeah I mean why stop at a 43 kill streak dammit?! Israel needs to harden the fuck up and wipe out the entire nation, give 'em a taste of their own medicine.

Well that would make Israel be as bad as the Palestinians and it would make as much sense as the death penalty in the US. How can you as a country pretend that life is precious if you are going to punish criminals by taking their lives? But that's a different debate, not for this thread I guess.

What Israel in my opinion should do is kick the entire group of Palestinians off the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Tell them: choose your destinations, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria or any other muslim country of your choice but you are out of here...

There is simply no way to live peacefully with Palestinians, they will always choose violence and their final objective is the destruction of Israel, that won't ever change. The stalemate between Palestine and Israel is just that, a dead end without solution. When you have a conflict with your neighbors and nothing seems to work to bring peace among you all, the solution is simple: Someone has to move out, otherwise the conflict will simply go on for generations on end.

I'm not sure why Israel does not come to this conclusion. Fear of international criticism? Those who have chosen to hate on Israel will do so no matter what Israel does so they will simply continue hating should Israel kick the Palestinians out, nothing new here. And at least the state could maybe live in peace. But keeping those unruly Palestinians as neighbors means eternal war.
