That is pretty impressive numbers! Congratz to Cory Barlog and to the Sony Santa Monica Team. Sale numbers could easily be 4m+ by now because its almost two weeks after those sales.

Its crazy how good Sony studios are: Naughty Dog, Guerrilla and Santa Monica are big 3 for me at least. Hopefully Sucker Punch can rise to this level with Ghost of Tsushima after moving to new studio and are now 170+ studio and still hiring. Other studios are talented as well, but a little lower on my list.

Don't think there has been a generation that there has been multiple 10+ million sellers from Sony's first party. This gen we might end with four, and with what ManlyTears mentioned, if GT was a single player focused experience like the prior six, it'd be five.

ot, good for SSM and Sony, they wised up and got off that rat race for 3rd party exclusive and used their capital and invested in their own studios, now 1st part for them is force to be reckoned with.

Next gen if PS5 is BC then Sony corners the market overnight again, no way people walk away from BC and that PS4 armory.

Well, looking at how the second week drop is relatively low I'm sure it is at 4.5m by now and 5m by the end of next week.

I think by e3 it will reach 7m and by the end of the year, depending on price point 10m
