well, full-frontal nudity/pornographic content (which is likely the reason Agony is censored) won't be a thing in console games, better go to PC if you want that

First Agony is not about sex or nudity. It's about being in hell. I don't know why anyone would think that sex and nudity which are totally natural and even good could have anything to do with hell or be related to it in any way.

Second we don't know what is censored in the game on consoles, I believe it's violent stuff, torture, cruelty or something like that.

Third, there has been BOTH instances of sex and nudity and even more so, violence and blood in console games without it being censored so there is no good reason or excuse to start censoring any of that now in this particular game.

And finally it seems that the only uncensored version will be the one on PC yes, but the thing is I don't have a PC and I won't buy one just for one game that shouldn't be censored to begin with. So sadly I'll just have to give that game which I had high hopes for, a pass.

easy, because the second of nine circles of hell in Dante Alighieri's famous depiction, which seems be the one Agony is using, is "Lust" and hence is likely to be filled with Penises/Vaginas/sexual torture/rape

while "normal" violence/brutality and dismemberment are a-ok in the US, content that could be seen as sexual isn't and would result in an AO rating, which console makers don't want on their systems (they hate to be dragged into the controversies AO titles pretty much always spawn)

Well I am NOT in the US. I'm in the EU and I'm no specialist of laws but I thought that meant we are NOT subject to US laws and stuff over here?

And AGAIN, other games have penises and are still on PS4 and uncensored.

Also on a side note: A society that condemns something as normal and natural as sex and nudity but is okay with violence and dismemberment, well such a society has very serious and deep issues...

EDIT: Again I'm no specialist in laws but don't Americans have some kind of freedom of expression being like super important and protected? Can't they apply for some kind of "unrated" type of release? I know they do that with movies which means NO MATTER WHAT is in a movie if it's "unrated" it means all goes, why not apply this for this game?

totally agree

I guess i might get it when it's highly discounted like i did with Beyond.

The things are interactive movies. Not great games, but entertaining.

Will it be hit like Heavy Rain or miss like Beyond Two Souls? Stay tuned for the next epezode

Well, it's going to be interesting to see if David Cage can finally tell a story that holds up all the way to the end.

He isn’t the sole writer. Regardless, Beyond’s story worked till the end and despite Heavy Rain’s narrative issues, in the end, it worked as well.

It's a matter of opinion really. I've always felt that his games have interesting premises and usually very well done set ups for their central mystery. For me they've just never held up all the way through because his games try to be too clever for their own good and get overly convoluted in the long run.

Already pre-ordered digitally. I'm afraid to play the demo in case I've base a terrible mistake but I'm excited, too.

I think the game hearks back more to Heavy Rain than Beyond which i loved. So fingers crossed.

Really? Wow, Sony is stacked this year. I still thought this game was at least a year away. I've literally heard nothing except the rooftop robot scene (and something about women being abused or something (Which is terrible!!)).
