Halo reboot? I have trouble believing that, we haven't even had Halo 6 yet.

Halo 6 will probably be "saved" for Xbox Two. My thinking is this is a spin off type deal.

Wait. Halo reboot? In the middle of an unfinished trilogy?

Maybe its "not" a main-line Halo? but like a spin-off series? thats just told from a differnt perspective or something?

Well, why would it say reboot instead of spinoff then?

Random site + google translate to get any sense out of it.... and hell if I know.

I'm skeptical. Some of that sounds probable. But some stuff... Borderlands 3 on gamepass for instance sounds very unlikely. Borderlands 2 sold very well and no doubt 2K/Gearbox will want even higher sales, so unless Microsoft offered them an insane amount of money I really can't see them giving it away on gamepass.

Halo: Genesis sounds sketchy too. Wasn't Halo 5 supposed to be part of a new trilogy? Would they really just scrap that idea to reboot the franchise? Just sounds like a great way to piss off fans.

I think a great way to get new subscribers is paying 3rd parties to launch games on the service. A majority of players will still opt for buying the game. Bear in mind Sea of Thieves apparently had a good sales opening in spite of launching on Gamepass.

The new trilogy started with Halo 4, Halo 5 continues that story. If anything, maybe they will have a Halo side story. I anticipate Halo:MCC is going to get a significant update, maybe even be "rebooted."

Could be a reboot in terms of gameplay, not necessarily story.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

halo reboot? So they arent gonna finish the trilogy with Halo 6?

Borderlands 3 on game pass, if true, would be huge boost for the subscription service.

edit: the reboot part is probably either a translation error. I think a reboot will come, but after Halo 6.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

i hope halo isnt that late, that was the one thing i was looking forward to this year. for me, with no halo, nothing but meh and disappointment so far if true. especially with the loss of a cod title for me.

Possible, but amazingly underwhelmed. Like really, could be their worst E3 yet.

Why would Forza be at 30FPS?

Also why would they have stuff for 2019 planned?

Find the possibility they are ditching Halo 6 and going for Halo 1 reboot fascinating.

Their last E3 was arguably the worst, this would be better. Both Sony and MS were heavily relying on 3rd parties and delayed games.

Forza HORIZON has always been 30 fps. PC would be the exception.

Seriously? Games announced at E3 are generally coming a year or years later.

A Halo reboot is not happening anytime soon. They will finish the current story.

There are a couple interesting titles but will this be enough to keep Sony from dominating? I don't think so. Sony doesn't even need to have an E3 conference and everyone knows they still have GoT from Sucker Punch, Dreams, The Last of Us Part 2, Death Stranding and Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

If Perfect Dark and Splinter Cell only started development recently and will release in 2019, that is a very short dev cycle that could hurt the quality. I think Halo 5 and Gears 4 also suffered from being rushed to prop up weak Xbone sales.

like this period before e3 when things get leaked...if true or not, but it's always funny to talk about it, and makes the waiting for the moment a little easier...😁
