I once sat in a pub full of full grown men, many of which were crying because our counties team was down 3 points with little time left in the all Ireland, our own little world cup, I've seen countless people men and women get into hospitalized fights over football and gaileic. A country divided simply by who is leading them, The US and either side can't get along without falling to childish and tribal habits regardless if they are wrong or right, treating it all like UFC pre fight trash talk. Those things are more or at the very least equally pathetic in my opinion but alas, you're right, the game is Godly regardless. It deserves to be 96/97 tbh.
