He implied thinking otherwise would be ridiculous. That much is factual. 

Generations are not defined by power. We just think that way because in the past, that was usually there result of a new generation. But in reality, a generation is simply defined by a successive console.

He said its rediculous to assume everybody would think better graphics make a game more enjoyable, in no way does that imply that people would think worse graphics make a game more enjoyable.

You're giving his statement a lot of leeway, that's for sure. In any case, I think that a game that is better looking (than the same game on another platform), is a game that is more enjoyable. I believe his comment tried to state otherwise. And now I disappear.

You would have to ask what he played before Switch existed and WiiU was a joke... the case would probably be he prefer to play Nintendo HW than anything else...

The ones that doesn't think improving graphics improve your enjoyment would have stayed on their Atari and NES... you can say some doesn't care as much as others about graphics, but even so they praise the improvement on graphics their console of choice get.

No sin, it's your preference... the point is that the reason you didn't buy a PC, PS4 or X1 before Switch release wasn't because of gyro... is because you prefer the HW and SW of Nintendo, isn't that true?

It's not as black and white as that; I own several non-Nintendo systems. Motion controls were not the sole reason I purchased a Switch but they were a significant factor.

And the reason you didn't buy a PS4/X1(or a PC) even without a proper Nintendo competitor (like Switch) for over 3 years even if you have the budget as you said earlier?
