There is no good reason to believe that this happened.
I have really no opinion on religion. It only matters to me when someone does something heinous in religion's name.

As far as Lord and Saviors go, I suppose you could do a lot worse than Jesus.

I feel frustration that progress is witheld by a scam.

The Bible has some pretty interesting philosophy (specifically the Jesus stuff because the old testament is pretty fucked) but I see no reason to believe in God.

The real question is, of the people who say that they believe in Jesus or God, or whomever, who *actually* believes it. Of course there is no way of knowing for sure, although I suspect that the majority of "believers" have some doubt at the very least.
