honestly it would be no different than it is now. Mankind would still be mankind as far as actions and behaviors.

As far as what would replace it. I'm not really sure on that

People would be killing each other over something else.

Communism or desire for power - as an individual or community depending on the person's status.

Dunno what exactly but we’d find something to separate ourselves and create a caste system. It’s the sickest part of human nature.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

It would be basically the same. Mankind would've found another means to easily gain power and wealth to control the masses.

That depends on the economy of the mind and how you interpret the process of human development.

For example, the same mind that can conceive Ra can come to understand that Ra does not exist. Remove the capacity of constructing gods and you may lose abstract functions such as pattern recognition in seasons to develop agriculture. So, we'd likely be extinct or still be small bands of hunter gatherers.

In the same respect assuming humans would still create large scale civilizations if power structures would be required to fill that void. We know in our current development that nationalism became the form of tribalism that shaped the modern era. We could simply been a species that worshiped leaders or parties or councils.

If you fundamentally can change our nature to keep our higher functions while stripping fear and superstition then our species would have had accelerated development of technology and likely have hit milestones much sooner and faster. We'd have Star Fleet around three thousand years ago and have colonies across the stars. By now we'd be discussing the possibilities of going to Andromeda and becoming a multi galaxy class species.

Religion would have been replaced by laws. On the other hand religion and laws usually go hand in hand. The world would not change all that much, perhaps we would have had a genocide less. We would still kill eachother without religion but for better or at least more logical reasons.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

To take away religion would be to take away hierarchy. The belief that one thing is better than another is a core human component that cant really be taken away without leaving you with a being without free will. People desire power and influence, they want their ideas to be the one that is accepted. Religion as whole is a construct to validate someones power over another. A way to establish a way of saying "im right" beyond he said she said. @Nymeria said it very well. You would have to literally strip pieces of humanity away, but it would create a near perfect species.

Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda!!!!

Just imagine how the world would be if 1/2 the people didn't believe that their actions while alive on Earth determine your punishment after you die. Being afraid of eternal punishment helps keep people 'in line' as far as treating others. Not a believer myself, but I am sure glad most do.
