Call me crazy, but I like Ribrianne's whole "let's turn the Magical-Girl trope on its head" thing. Pretty Girl gets ugly, lol.

 

Though I feel like they ruined her near the end by essentially calling Krillin too ugly to love.

Yeah I agree. I thought the parody was funny initially but it definitely wore out it's welcome. I was so glad when 18 put eliminated her. I don't even like Krillin and I thought Ribrianne went to far.

Z is so much better than the original its not even fun.

Sure Boo saga was a bit worse than the others, but it still was pretty good.

Goku vs Vegeta and Gohan vs Cell were dope, Goku vs Freeza was also great, all well deserved finales for good sagas.

Dragon Ball Z is already pretty aged tho, and a lot of other animes have surpassed it since then.

Dragon Ball had a better story,better character development,better sense of ''adventure'',etc

It was overall superior to Z imo

Agreed. Dragon Ball is the best series. It's not close. DBZ has great moments but it significant lows. The Buu saga was all sorts of terrible.

Agreed. Dragon Ball is the best series. It's not close. DBZ has great moments but it significant lows. The Buu saga was all sorts of terrible.

The way they disrespected Gohan and added Videl, the most obnoxious character, in my opinion, made the Buu saga non-canon in my world. I didn’t even bother to watch GT nor Super, but I may give Super a chance after all of these positive reviews.

I guess it depends on how you define that term.
I was just thinking of how Goku was the only one who got to accomplish anything relevant against the only one from the opposing team that actually was a formidable opponent. In every other fight, Goku and Vegeta conserved their stamina. By the time Vegeta reached Hit, he was a bit fatigued and got taken out immediately.

Goku forfeited against Hit though. When's the last time Goku has actually beaten a major character straight up?
