In terms of PS first party titles, Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy are both visually pleasing and have strong stories but are not of the same genre of course. Horizon just takes everything to another level for open worlds. GOW almost sounds like it's going to try and fit right between these two genre's possibly.
After putting about 20 hrs into ACO now, it feels a lot like HZD, just set in ancient Egypt. While ACO has some stunning visuals and great game play, it doesn't seem to have the same level of story and lacks some of the polish that HZD has.
Guerrilla really delivered and HZD has a real chance at becoming one of the top, if not the top first party franchise for PS consoles going forward. XB saw this right away and its no wonder they want a piece of it themselves. You know you made a great game when...
Seems like many of the larger AAA studios/titles are looking to the Deities for inspiration, and are being handsomely rewarded for it.
