Big milestones were reached in each of the three categories this month. Furthermore, the overall tie ratio exceeds 25 now.

It was a quiet year overall, with only ~800 games being added in 2019. The percentages for physical games have come down for first party titles, but gone up for third parties; overall, it only slightly decreased from 46.0% to 44.7% since twelve months ago. Similarly, only a slight dip for the first party share of Switch game libraries, down 0.8 percent points since the end of 2018.

The Rabbids reclaim the fifth spot, SSB Ultimate closes the gap on ARMS. In the bottom half it is Link's Awakening and Luigi's Mansion 3 which have the best momentum.

January sees the releases of Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training for Nintendo Switch and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.
