Forums - Politics Discussion - Britain's 'worst ever' child grooming scandal exposed

This is the UK, so they're not going to do much about it. However, if you say something in public that isn't nice, you better believe they're going to do something about it. The police there have priorities you know.

Our treasonous hate speech laws (2006) were a response to the increased support for the far-right due to terrorism and rumours of child exploitation by predominantly British-Pakistani men.

Tony Blair wanted to bomb Muslims in the Middle East without losing any Muslim votes to the anti-war Liberal Democrats. The far-right were the only ones who supported the parents of these girls. Our media and politicians told us it was far-right propaganda and we all believed them. Once they began demonstrating in the areas where the abuse was taking place, the government introduced legislation which pretty much outlawed the BNP. The laws would have been even more draconian if Mr Bean and the unelected House of Lords hadn't opposed them.

....Comedian Rowan Atkinson said: "I appreciate that this measure is an attempt to provide comfort and protection to them but unfortunately it is a wholly inappropriate response far more likely to promote tension between communities than tolerance."

Nailed it.

It's a national disgrace and I wish we still had the death penalty for child rapists and the politicians and police that helped cover it up.

Rape cultures do exist, just not where the media tells you to look at (video games, college campuses).

So, because children get sexually abused, that somehow means that women on college campuses cannot?

Not really related to the thread at hand, but didn't you say you were taking a break from the site?

Well, I guess those plans were aborted

He didn’t say that.

He's saying that rape  culture doesn't exist on college campuses.

There's no rape culture on college campuses but there's sometimes rapes there like anywhere else. They are not the same thing.
