Wow looks like we wont be seeing another monster hunter game for nintendo. And capcom must regreted they made all those monster hunter games exclusive to nintendo.

Why? They must have gotten lots of profit from making them low budget games. And how long did it took them to make MH World?

And There was a rumor that an MH was coming to the PS4 (which it did) and a different one for the Switch (which is coming)

Pocky Lover Boy!

Damn! Whit this, i think it's safe to assume that we are going to see many MH on playstation in the future.
Damn, MHW is set to be the best selling MH ever, the good son is back on Playstation, and will stay for a long time.

Insane success. Monster Hunter in 2 months sold as much as horizon did in 12 months. Crazy success. 10m is a lock. It will probably do 8m+ on ps4 alone.

To be fair,it's "shipment" not "sold" and horizon is an exclusive title.

7 millions sold through for mhw

PS4 at 5 million and Xbox One at 2 million?

PS4 6M and Xbox 1.5M is more likely

You guys are being generous, +6.5M PS is more than likely, this game is "almost" PS4 exclusive.

It's not set to be, it already is. Capcom's best selling game ever in fact.

The best selling Monster Hunter prior to World was Monster Hunter Freedom 3 on the PSP with 4.9m sales, and behind that Monster Hunter X on 3ds with 4.3m sales.

World is completely on another level in terms of sales, and critical reception.

Good point, and yeah, this MH is just another level!! Finally MH managed to put great numbers in occident. Whit some Luck, this will mean no more MH as Nintendo exclusive.

It would be weird to go back to making titles exclusive to Nintendo platforms, designing the next game to work on Switch as well as ps4/xbo/pc from the start seems a better option. Rather than designing a title specifically for one system, design it with all systems in mind.

Designing for all systems will just hold the game back. They need to focus making monster hunter as best as can be or else playstation and xbox owners won't be satisfied and they will lose interest

I agree, just lower resolution and fps and the game will most likely run on switch. I mean, the gap of switch and og x1 isn't that big, i'm sure a switch port is something that can work at lower resolution, fps, and some "minor"sacrifices".
