Terra's theme is fantastic.
The final arcs of Tales overworlds are great stuff, set the tone right for the final stretch of the story.
Bae Plat already mentioned Symphonia, but
Lufia 2 for me. Then again... Probably biased as it's one of the very few RPG's I actually enjoy and thus completed multiple times.

Thanks a lot for contributing some great mentions! To the one mentioning FFIX, however... I thought of doing it myself, but decided to limit my post a bit... however:
It won't let me embed video on this site anymore, but my votes are the A Link to the Past version of the Zelda overworld theme, and the world map theme from Ni no Kuni by Joe Hisaishi.
