Bayonetta 1 is a new IP, isn't it? So Nintendo grab the second and the third, Sony and Microsoft didn't care about Bayo 1 to fund the second, after it's sales you think they will suddenly care about it? Nintendo is the only one who can fund the third after low sales of Bayo 2

Bayo 1 isn't. Bayo 1 came out way back in 2009.

Again, you've already mentioned the same line about 2-3, which we all know about.

Nintendo didn't even fund Bayo 1 actually. Bayo 1 was designed for the 360 first, with the PS3 version being outsourced to another studio (hence the bad port performance).

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Bayo 1's JP voice was created for Wii U ver only and Nin funded it as well. Sony/MS can but not really enthusiasm about it while Nintendo agreed funding it when there is some rumors about Bayo 2 being cancelled in 2011. Why Nintendo knew but Sony/MS didn't? You think they will fund the 4th game when 1-3 were on Switch and 2,3 are Nin's exclusives? Not to mention about spending quite many money and can't even break over, you think Sony/MS are willing to do that?

Yeah, they funded for a Japanese VA version. They did not originally fund the original Bayo 1. That is the big difference.

Sony has funded a plethora of games before, so I'm not sure why you're making it out like Ninty is the only one who funds anything. MS has also funded games themselves. Even PC gamers have funded their own games, and even games that made it onto the Switch (you know, some that are willing to share).

What about them?

I think the only thing he wasn't clear on was the state of Bayonetta as a whole.

Does Nintendo own half of the IP? Or does it simply own the titles it assisted? A good example of the latter scenario is Street Fighter V: Sony helped pay for a bunch of it and helped develop it, but they only share rights with that single title.

Like Sony understand how cross-platform can be bad for children? Or MS/Sony understand how Bayo is worthless and their fans don't need it? If then yeah, i agree
