Sony doesn't own the IP so its not a Sony IP.

You asked "which Sony console introduced the best Sony IPs", and the PS1 introduced Crash and it was a Sony IP when introduced (and for the whole gen of that console).

I won't go further to avoid a back and forth, though.

Sony published the games and the IP was owned by Universal Studios now Activision.

PS3 definitely, with PS4 a a close second (for now).

All have heavy hitters but just in terms of diversity PS3 was leagues ahead.. (bring out the list)

Heavenly Sword, Lair, Resistance, Uncharted, The Last of Us, MAG, WarHawk, StarHawk, Puppeteer, Journey, Flower, LittlebigPlanet, Heavy Rain, Beyond two souls, Infamous, Motor Storm, Folklore, Demon Souls..

and what makes Ps3 line up stand up even more was that third party struggled so much to support PS3 due to its Architecture, but sony just didnt give up and took upon themselves to pump up out games after games..

On PS1 the only franchises I loved was Syphon Filter and Crash. Maybe Spyro.

PS2, I loved Mark of the Kri, God of War 2, and Ratchet and Clank

PS3, I loved Uncharted, The Last of Us, and Heavy Rain.

PS4, I loved Until Dawn and Gravity Rush (does that count?)

Guess I'll go with PS3.

mZuzek loves Starfox Adventures

I’ll go PS4 as horizon is my favourite game ever !

Actually Sony never owned the Crash Bandicoot IP.

I wonder why they didn't just create their own character, though. Did Naughty Dog create a great game and Sony decide they wanted it? I mean he was just some orange mouse in pants. Any one of us could come up with a better mascot.

Crash was successful. Their character may not have been successful, these kind of successes only happen so often.
