Heh i think they will just wait 2 years with a console barely selling. We might see lots of games turning into PS4 exclusives or even Switch-PS4 which is already happening.

If VGC numbers are to be believed then it is 10% up yoy for the same week.  And with the X1X, Gamepass news, PUBG and Sea of Thieves, I don't see any reason for the sales to drop drastically in comparison to last year.

Boy oh boy, if true, this is rough times for Xbox. I don't think Sea of Thieves or Crackdown are going to offer to big of a boost either. I'm not sure what Microsoft can do at this point, hopefully the Xbox Games Pass 1st Party announcement made more people than just me go out and join the party.

Switch and PS4 are looking unstoppable at this point. Still selling vey well with $300 price tags, and plenty of big market 1st party titles to drive sales. If this keeps up, I have a hard time seeing Sony cutting prices.

I really do not see the Switch winning any month WW for the time being.  I mean, the PS4 just got MH, DBZ and Shadow of the Colossus. With Far cry 5, Yakuza 6 and Ni no Kuni 2 coming soon.  So yeah..

Well Switch is really not far behind with no games and shortage in Japan. I really think the Switch can take over this year mostly with the end of the year.

Hm what ? Nintendo announced Switch was at more than 13 millions as of December 31st and it's nothing counting some countries. If it's overtracked it's by only a little since it was 13.3 as of Dec 31st and we know it's over 13 millions + some places. I think they will give us precise numbers around the anniversary.
