Well everyone has different tastes. They don't all have to be 95+ score games to be enjoyable.

I looked at what i bought in the first 7 months or so on my games list and these are ones that i enjoyed:

Madden NFL 07

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2

Excite Truck

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Need for Speed: Carbon

A game that makes teenage girls around teenage boys comfortable in the same room without the awkward silence  of them wonder if they will try to hit on me or not is a bad thing?

It was good for breaking the ice with new people and fun to play.  It achieved what is to get people to play together in the same room and laughing not sit there in a basement playing call of duty all day and night swearing at every one like a tool.

It's only logical. Indie games on consoles were a rarity back then, unlike today where you get new releases on eShop pretty much every day.

Yep, that's why to me they both feel on par atm as physical releases about the same quality wise in the same period.

It's not a good game, face it.

True great games are timeless, like A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime, etc.
