People really care about Dragonball Z all the sudden?

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

The last DBZ game has sold ~3.3m. It's a big series.

Dragon Ball Fighter Z comes out in two days. I don't even know what comes with each version and which version I should get. If I buy the cheaper version, maybe I won't be able to buy certain content. If I buy the expensive version, I could be paying an extra $40 for some goddam Saiyba men. If I don't pre-order by tomorrow at midnight, I'll miss some DLC. Fuck. How did things get so bad? |
I learned my lesson last gen.
What I'm doing now is if I already know of games being released and will have season pass or DLC characters (Fighting games especially) etc.. I simply just wait it out for the complete edition.
Yes, the main (and only) downfall to this is that you miss out on the hype at the beginning (and if its a fighting game you'll just be a noob while others are already pro). So what do I do while I wait for the complete edition? I play 'catch up on my backlogs' lol I'm doing that with SFV, Dissidia, and Dragon Ball FighterZ. I know its heartbreaking cause you want to play it asap, but face it, I'm sure you got other games that deserves to be played too that's just collecting dust.
But i found the wait was worth it when you get the full package in the end. I did it with the Naruto Shippuuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 and so glad I waited because they released the Legacy Edition that had all remasters of the first 3 games and the 4th game with all the DLC.
My only exception is if you're buying the game for the collectors edition. For me it was FFXV. But hearing of the FFXV Season Pass I knew they'd come out with a more complete edition, and now they're releasing the Royal Edition which is great! New gamers will definitely get the more fuller experience...but I thought I read that they're still not done with the game so I wonder if another edition will come out?
Anyways, ya I do agree that there's so many editions out now its ridiculous. Even the new GoW game has multiple editions :/
