Maybe he's the old Kaizer.

It is an alt account, but of a different person who went with names like gamemaster87 and JNK.

Why do you think so? its actually not true

Behavioral analysis.

Of course there's always a chance for error as two different persons can exhibit very similar traits, but there are enough matches to arrive at that conclusion.

in that case work on your analysis ;)

I dont even know who "gamtermaster87" is btw and im not born 1987 either (I assume he is?!)

So you can admit that there are some that will have bad experiences and not like VR?

There are some people that will suffer from motion sickness, some of those may not be able tp adept to VR. For those its obviously not as good.

I can tell you if you pick 100 strangers on this world and let them play 5 minutes any first person shooter of your choice on any console of your choice and 5 minutes farpoint with psvr aim controller, all 100 strangers will like farpoint FAR better (as long as they dont suffer from motion sickness which is unlikely in 5 minutes).

I believe that motion assisted aiming, and even ir pointer aiming in fps games is infinitely better than dual sticks. I can't for the life of me understand how someone can play with dual sticks. Even great games like Shadow of Mordor, I put down after a few hours because of lack of motion assisted aiming.

But I'm not deluded enough to think that if I grab 100 people off the street that they would all agree with me. Hell, you will find a ton of people on this site that will swear off motion assisted aiming. I'm not going to sit and create thread after thread arguing why they are wrong though.

Its not "motion assisted aiming" like in splatoon or IR Aiming like on the Wii. Its just like real shooting. There is no crossair, just the weapon in your hands.

I totally agree with you if we are talking about what you did, i personally enjoyed Splatoons motion aiming alot and also liked wiis IR pointer Aiming in COD, but those stuff is not the same to VR. You still have a crossair on the screen and just use motion to move it, very similar to mouse or analog stick aiming. Some just work better. In VR, you dont move any crossair, you just have a gun in your hands. If you want to get a good long distance shot, you need to pull the weapon up to your face and sign of by using the ironsight.

I might be the only one who turned Splatoon motion controls off. I aim with the analog and well I often dominate at the game.

Just stop. I was not trying to argue that motion aiming or IR were better or worse than VR, I was just pointing out that my opinion on something being amazing does not mean that others have to find it that way too.

I find motion aiming to be a necessity and can not go back to dual sticks, just as you probably find that VR is a necessity and makes flat tv gaming sucky. But there are people out there that think otherwise. I can argue all day until my face is blue, but there will be people that will say how motion assisted aiming sucks and you will find youtube videos easy of let players turning it off the second they start a game.

You will find the same. Argue all day if you want about VR, there are some that just don't like it as it is right now.

I turned them off almost immediately. The motion controls are horrible.

Well I watched many videos about Farpoint, read reviews on amazon had friends playing the game. There was NEVER anybody that didnt said how much better the aiming actually is. That is not the case with motion controlls. Maybe it will be 99/100, but the big majortiy will definitly enjoy VR far more.

do the research for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=farpoint+reaction

If you find anybody that will say "meh, stick aiming is better" after playing farpoint, tell me and I will admit that you were right ;)

Same. Even my kids can't stand playing it with motion controls
