I'd be hesitant to call corporate welfare a kind of socialism when many people's understanding of socialism is "when the government does stuff".

The USA instead filled the swamp twice as high, filled it with swamp monsters... And turned itself into an international joke.

Many nations with a sprinkling of Socialism tend to do well in various comparisons and metrics and the USA should take note of the benefits, especially in homeless rates, healthcare, standard of living, education and so on.

Full-blown socialism however can be absolutely destructive.

I agree with some social safety nets but not when people can easily abuse them or when it becomes so good people don't want off of it. So I guess we might agree.

Sure, we have social safety nets but none could be called socialism. Those programs can be attributed to good ol' fashioned human decency. Down on your luck? Sure, we'll help out for a bit. That's just trying to be to your fellow countryman. Corporate bail outs aren't socialism unless it leads to the government owning the company they gave it to.

Socialism is what Venezuela attempted by seizing companies and turning it into such a 💩 that people ate all of their pets. Equality in squalor. Btw,  just to clarify I'm not saying the people there are bad but their leaders are.

Definitely agree. Though, it's ridiculous that the government basically forced their way into it, instead of staying how it used to be with communities helping each other out. Now, we barely know our neighbors and the first sign of trouble we turn to the government. It just gives them too much power and money. Money that doesn't always get put to good use. 

Also, no wackos on the left? Guess he is completely oblivious to his own side, which is dangerous. Guess the guy who tried to murder a bunch of Republicans at a baseball game doesn't count. Or some of the nut jobs in BLM shouting about roasting cops. Or those in the Black Panthers talking about killing white babies. And when you have mainstream Democrats talking with extreme rhetoric, that their actions prove that they don't believe themselves, about how Republicans are murdering people and the earth with their policies, it's no wonder there are so many extremists on that side. 

The version of Trump being portrayed by the mainstream media absolutely has mental illness. The real-life Trump, however, does not and therein lies the problem. People who listen to the mainstream media are getting a fabricated version of reality. The truth is that Hillary and her financiers like Zuckerberg and Soros are far more narcissistic and sociopathic than Trump will ever be, but because the mainstream media is owned by the corporate billionaires and the Hollywood millionaires, the negative qualities of these people will be completely suppressed and hidden from the public. In fact, the mainstream media accuses their enemies (namely Trump) of having the qualities of what they, themselves, have. It is actually a well-used propaganda technique by intelligence agencies to accuse your enemies of being what you yourself are guilty of as it makes it very tough for the other side to re-accuse you afterwards.

The mainstream media doesn't want any scrutiny of the mega-rich like Bezos and Soros nor their corrupt lap-dog politicians like Hillary and so they accuse Trump of the exact crimes that they themselves commit. For example, take Hillary's Uranium One deal with the Russians. What better way to bury that story then to accuse Trump of being a Russian agent. The good thing is that it is not working and people are starting to wake up.

The moral is to stop listening to mainstream media. Corporations are not and never have been impartial sources and consuming news-media from a corporation is an incredibly bad idea. I am not even joking, it is better for you to read the tabloids than to listen to the mainstream media. Find independent sources, bloggers whose funding you trust or even better start doing your own investigative research. Never trust a big corporation for anything except to please its controlling interests.

One year and the dems are still crying. I'm a libertarian thus I don't like republicans nor democrats, but the dems with the help of the mainstream media have become absolutely disgusting, trying desperately to censor any opposing voice.

You are talking about fringe movements on the left.  Anyway the fringe on the right is far worse since it includes the KKK the alt right and various other hate groups.
