Personally I'd find any European setting boring but that's just me.

1000 people in Scotland wouldn't want to rip London a new arsehole?

But no, it works better in America.

And now they have Trump material to work with, so you can fully expect it to be set in America. Leave London, or Europe in general, to another game.

The issue with that is that there isn't any other games that will do. If Sony would get off their arse and make a new Getaway game then we'd be laughing, but they don't seem interested in that IP anymore, the PS2 ones haven't even been re-released or HD remastered yet

The Saboteur - it's GTA meets AC set in Paris during WWII.

Sure, EA decided to publish it before Pandemic managed to polish it, but honestly I've enjoyed it more than GTA IV (just like I've enjoyed Sleeping Dogs more than GTA V)

Hope so, bored of the rehashed places all the time.

Oh man that game---loved it back then, criminally underrated imho.

Have you been to Europe yet? If not you should, there's plenty of interesting places here!

I also think Europe seems boring compared to American settings. Or elsewhere.

They still haven't made a Vice City game in HD, so I guess there's still that to do. They could also do Carcer City, they haven't had that in a GTA game yet.

Wait, I just remembered that the mafia are originally from Sicily.

i am so confused XD

Rockstar North is a British development house. They've talked openly about how the 3D GTA titles were always suppose to be social commentary against the US and its way of life. So for them to make a GTA based in EU, or Britain... it would require them to fundamentally change their entire approach. They'd have to embarrass and rip on their own country, culture and way of life. I don't think they'd do that.

OK. I want this comment to be taken as bro-dudely as possible. What he fuck are you talking about?!? Rockstar North is Scottish.
