These numbers have a between a 0.0000000000% and 0.00000000000% chance of being true. 7m will be way closer than 10m.

I presume the problem lies in that the algorithm used to guess the number is way off for worldwide, and uses the PS4s increases to factor in increased sales trends. The truth is Xbox really competed against the Switch all year as a choice, and the Switch won.

Without the 1m or so bump of the X, the truth is probably that the Xbox1 would be sub 6m and this would be the relative end of the console in the generation as a serious contender.
