Keep mind the only way to get a physical copy of Bayonetta 1 on Wii U  was to buy a copy of Bayonetta 2 during its first couple of printings. As copies of Bayonetta 2 released as of February 2016  did not include Bayonetta 1. 

VGC numbers are super wrong for Bayonetta, don't use them.

When there is nothing better or anything more concrete, I dont see the issue if its used as a means to give an idea.Its the same argument I had with you once about Xenoblade if Im not mistaken.

Damn Bayo 1 + 2 will surprise us in sales i think. The franchise really gained on popularity with Smash and Steam and many didn't played the 2nd one because the Wii u sucked. I think it can move some hardware.

I have yet to see any evidence for Amazon being a reliable indicator for software sales. It's better to not read too much into them.

Still, being #3 at 1 month of release is really great even if its not an indicator. It's also not like it has much competition on Switch.

Wow! I have to say, even though the Direct didn't seem to go down too well, almost all of the games shown have had a significant impact on Amazon at least! Bayo at 3, Kirby at 21, Dark souls at 22 etc. Even that SNK heroines game is near the top of the movers and shakers. It's the Nin direct software that's on fire atm! Even Bayo 3 is in the top 100 and literally nothing has been shown of it so far.

The problem is, there IS something better:

According to NPD Bayonetta 2 on Wii U sold 182.000 as for November 2015, and is the best selling version of a Bayonetta game. Aka Wii U > 360

 

Now you look at VGC and:

Bayonetta on 360 is over 500K and PS3 version over 440K for a total of almost one million in NA only!!?!??!
