Forums - Nintendo Discussion - USA Today Says Switch Has Sold 15 million units!?

I don't buy those numbers, maybe shipped, but sold through official ones from just something like 2-3 weeks before were 5 million less. How many consoles have sold that?

Around the Network

It says on Vg chartz 504,563 North america sold nintendo units

165,062 Europe

142,734 Japan

897,000

504,563+165062+142,734+897,00=  1.7 million in one week for week ending in Nov 25 per Vg chartz.

Playstation had even better week. So did xbox.

But I still think 15 million is high and dont think source of this article is accurate.

The 897 000 is worldwide total and that includes all the markets you’ve listed, and also ROW(rest of world)

to be honest I’d love to see a ROW section next to the Japan sections in hardware and have it’s own software/hardware chart like the current ones we see.

It's probably 15 million shipped, not sold.

that 897k already is the total for all regions combined, not a "rest of the world" number

Around the Network

Ranked by number of units sold worldwide. Note that the Global total includes regions not counted in the individual North America, Europe and Japan columns.
I thought this meant Global is all countries not counted in previously. If I am wrong my bad.

..........Whatever...Nevermind.

Insert Coin. Press START. You Died. Continue?

15 million does seem aggressive, but even if it 12 or 13 million it is still extremely impressive for a console that came out in March.

“Some parents let their young kids win at games, but mine never did. I don't think it was because they were particularly competitive, they just wanted to teach me a valuable lesson. Life is mostly just learning how to lose.”

How are the iPad and the PS4 not on that list??
