I can't split Resident evil 7 and Skyrim as my favourites. There is just so much good stuff out there people refuse to educate themselves about game wise. If I Could only pick one platform to game on, it would be VR above all of them. I can't wait for the next jump in VR tech, but I will enjoy everything we get, till we get there.

everybody hat can afford one and dont get motion sick has the same opinion dude. Beeing in a game world is just a complete different league compared to watching the game through a small window (=your tv). There is no real competition. VR is without a doubt the best gaming plattform that ever was created.

It's magical, really..the most exciting thing that has happened to gaming since the first 3D graphics. It's something I have always dreamed of. And it works remarkably well, even on base PS4 with the 270€ I spent for my PSVR. Everybody I showed it too left stunned and with the will to buy one, even if some of them got a bit motion sick from Ultrawings, for example (which is kinda tough for a beginner).

Problem is, it totally doesn't translate to the screen...People who think they know what they're talking about, despite not having tried it yet, are surely missing out.

What I'm most impressed by is how well it works even for 3rd person or isometric games..I would never have expected that before I tried out Bound or Moss.

Update:

- On CES HTC has just announced their upgraded VIVE PRO (chuckle) headset and an additional wireless upgrade.
- Resolution will be the same 2880x1600 OLED pentile screen already featured in the Samsung Odyssey.
- new headset will work with the existing hardware
- price and upgrade options TBA
- release of Vive Pro will be in Q1, not sure about the wireless ugrade

The stream was very silent and low quality so it was hard to understand anything. I'm sure I've missed stuff.

surprises are coming this year, its exciting.

After playing Skyrim in VR I can definitely say I'd be all in for more PS3 (or even PS2) games being remastered for VR. I also really hope L.A. Noire will come to PSVR some day, it looks great!

Now let's think about it for a sec. Which PS3/PS2 games would be a good fit for VR....?!

-Shadow of Colossus obviously!
-God of War?!
-Heavy Rain?!
-Little Big Planet?!
-Oblivion?!
-Fallout 3/NV?!
-Deus Ex Human Revolution?! difficult I guess
-Journey and Flower?! Yessss please!!!
-Okami?!
-Trine?!
-Motorstorm?!
OMG I just realised I want Destruction Derby! haha
-Skate series?! (OMG) hard to do I guess
-Warhawk?! (fuck yeah!)

Yeah but this is just a issue because the technology is so new and wont be a problem anymore in the future. Actually internet opinion already changed pretty drastically in the past year imo.

I got a PSVR on launch and back in that time, I remember alot more hate and almost no defense for the unit. Most people were actually like "its a gimmick, the new kinect" whatever.

But with more and more people had the chance to try one, it really changed in many cases. Sure there are still many people hating on it (most likely because they also have much FOMO) but there are also alot people that defend vr and share their xexpierence now a days.

Look at skyrim VR. The E3 reveal trailer was heavily hated and 90% of the comments were bashing the game, then check IGNs poor review about the game with many people in the comments actually tell others how amazing this tech and game is.

Agreed, however it is difficult to identify the ones who are genuinely not interested or turned off and those who can't afford it or aren't in a position to jump in. I've spotted a few on these here forums but one still can't be sure and if there truly is this many people not interested then it's a worrying future. The way I look at it though, is this year looks awesome and VR porn justifies my purchase alone, if VR doesn't cut it and fades out at least we, the ones who bought in while the going was hot will be the ones who had the experiences that at the very least we will remember and have enjoyed. And enjoying it we are! Enjoying the hell out of it!

People werent interested in the first iPhone or even consoles either. People get interested in stuff when it gets maisntream. If they friend have it, famous people use it and that stuff.

Yesterday was the first time I used my PSVR to watch a movie while lying in bed without disturbing my dog at night. Felt pretty comfortable and the low resolution didn't matter as much as I thought it would.

I just got Eagle Flight for 5€, physical version and new, pretty good deal !
