I just made the connection that I tend to hate snow levels in games because I hate winter in real life. Anyhow

What’s worse I’ve never been to iceland, just an all around fraud

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. You'll notice when you get there.

I remember really loving the Christmas level in Banjo Kazooie.

the most recent that comes to mind is the Winter Crash map on CoD4

Only ice level that immediately springs to mind is from Battletoads, chucking huge ice cubes & snowballs, dodging spikes, sliding around & dying very easily...good stuff.

The best imo are the ones in the first DKC. So foreboding and atmospheric.

The Cool Cool Mountain from Super Mario 64 and the snowy level in Banjo-Kazooie (the one with the big christmas tree).

This too!!

I would mention Valak Mountain from Xenoblade but, while it's a snowy place, it's not christmas themed.

Edit: For some reason I thought this thread was only for christmas-themed levels but any snowy level counts, so my main answer is Valak Mountain.

Flanoir in Symphonia

Gotta fill my Tales of Symphonia mention quota. Flanoir baby.

From the atmosphere, the cozyness of the city plus the great moments you get from the conversations between Lloyd and the other characters, one of the most memorable places from Symphonia for sure.
