Pokemon and Super Smash Bros and Animal Crossing and 2D Mario and a brand new Mario Kart and everything else hasnt released yet! Looks like it wont collapse next year afterall

I think pokemon will offer a nice boost, but 2d mario, and smash with have very little effect. i think most nintendo fans have bought one by now, i don't think many can resist mario 64 sequel, most hyped zelda ever, mario kart, and splatoon ( japan only) sales will slow down next year for sure imo.

Its nowhere near all nintendo fans that bought a switch. Hell many switch owners are new adopters. There are 70mil 3ds out there probably like 40mil of which are unique owners.

That said next year itll be up if not close to being flat imo. Oh as for super smash it is one of the biggest system sellers for nintendo. I put it in the top 5 easily (with mario kart/pokemon)

Remember that 3DS needed a big price cut in its first year to achieve those numbers.  No such cut needed for Switch.

remember this is nintendo next consoles and handheld, with nintendo's biggest guns coming out the first year.

Pokemon, Animal Crossing and Smash disagree, and even though you dismissed it I certainly wouldn’t dismiss a 2d mario which historically sell more than 3D regardless of whether they are as critically acclaimed.

Also, historically whilst Zelda games have been critically acclaimed they are not amongst a systems best sellers.

Now price doesn't matter?

We reap what we sow

Something's not right. Zelda BotW only sold around 4M copies. Why are there 6M Switch owners that do not own this game??

There are some sick people out there my man! I’m guessing it’s a tad higher than 4m now though after November.

Congrats Switch. Keep the sales coming.

I agree.

if the only game I bought would have been BotW I still think the switch + the game would have been worth it. I haven’t enjoyed a video/computer game as mutch as I enjoyed BotW in the last 20 years (I think the last game that gave me this kind of enjoyment was the original Fallout).

What was X1 first 10 months? Any1 kno

Going by this comparison Chart I would say about 5 Million, so half of what the Switch did
